With a vision to contribute creatively to Bangladesh’s growing economy, Kazi Mahbub Morshed founded STEP Communications in 2010. Through years of experience in event management, corporate campaigns, and brand experiences, he observed that the country’s interior design industry still had untapped potential and significant challenges. From the experiences of clients and peers, he realized that even after investing time, money, and effort, many people were not receiving the results they envisioned. These insights sparked the idea for something new — a smarter, more reliable approach to interior design.
In 2022, Kazi Mahbub Morshed and Kazi Moinul Hassan co-founded StepDecor, a modern, tech-driven interior design platform with a mission to make interior design in Bangladesh more accessible, transparent, and hassle-free. Since its inception, StepDecor has successfully designed and implemented over 100+ spaces, each reflecting the company’s commitment to quality, creativity, and client satisfaction.

Mahabub Morshed
Kazi Mahabub Morshed, Managing Director of STEP Communications since 2016, has led the company to become a trusted name in event management across Bangladesh. Born in Narail, he studied at Lohagara Pilot High School and Tejgaon College. As co-founder of StepDecor, he brings innovation and reliability to the interior design industry.
Moinul Hassan
Kazi Moinul Hasan, born in 1995 in Lohagara, Narail, holds a degree in MIS from the University of Dhaka. He combines strategic insight with technology-driven problem-solving to drive growth and efficiency. Passionate about innovative business solutions, Moinul brings analytical thinking and creativity to modern, forward-looking teams.
